63% positive business outlook
Pros
employee engagement, awesome location and facilities
Cons
weird structure and minimal training- no communication of expectations
Pros
Friendly, casual yet professional environment. Very dedicated staff top to bottom. Everyone I worked with worked hard, smart and tirelessly to get the job done. Very flexible on working from home as an option. Very good HR department, good benefits and PTO, and good 401k match.
Cons
Lack of effective communication and active collaboration between geographically dispersed teams is generating an unhealthy "us vs. them" mentality.
Pros
Great people and great benefits.
Cons
Was promised raises and training that never came. Once I was given a raise (8 months later), billing messed up my paycheck and I got less than normal. Instead of overnighting me a check, they told me I had to wait a whole pay period to get my full paycheck. Lack of communication, especially with merge.
Pros
The entire company is inovative, agile, and has a good work - play mix. There is even a "Chief Fun Officer" selected every year.
Cons
There's a huge lack of communication, not just virtical in the organization, but even horizontal. The company grew up in the Intel community, and their internal culture shows their background. Unfortunately, it causes a lot of problems.
Pros
Great people from top to bottom. Good benefits, great technical work and projects. New senior leaders have cleaned up the company and have it on the right path.
Cons
Middle management communication isn't the best. Company is still stove-piped in certain areas as a result of growth through acquisitions.
Pros
Excellent benefits/salaries. The culture is unique which combines caring and fun. Executives have open communication and they let employees know they are important to the company. The company promotes charity to the community so sponsor employees in their charitable endeavors.
Cons
Origianlly was fast growing so not all infastructure was in place, but that has improved.
Pros
Fantastic benefits package, competitive compensation, availability of upward mobility. Great employee perks such as weekly sporting events tickets giveaways, gifts sent to your home for no charge to you, gift card giveaways. Great communication from Len and the other high level executives on the overall movement and operation of the company at an enterprise level. Friendly, efficient, and talented people for inside-operations such as Human Resources, Payroll, and Timekeeping operations. Always quick to respond to problems.
Cons
KEYW is a Maryland based company, so the professional sporting events are for Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Ravens tickets. As a Washington DC resident, where is the love for the Redskins and Nationals?
