Pros

Used to be really good but the whole company is changed from covid maybe?

Cons

Been here a long time and have seen the changes. You will be expended by management. Kidangos mission is more important than the lives of its staff, you will falsely be led on to believe that they care about you. You will be a resource and nothing else. Lies, politics, clicks, and others. If you care at all about interpersonal relationships, you will suffocate under the all the drama. This company is not like what it once was. It does not know how to play with the big names out there. i do not think anyone should work here until this company has major overhaul. Warning, beware

Pros

- Teachers are devoted to their work. - Pay is a bit more than other agencies.

Cons

- Managers like their pickle to be tickled. - Be ready to suck up to your boss and toot your own horn as loud as you can so you can make a name for yourself; otherwise, you will stay stagnant in your own role.

Teacher Aide

Pros

There is opportunity to grow as a educator since the weekly curriculum is created and determined individually by the teachers and aides of each classroom. Plus, all employees receive mandated training on the best educating practices for Early Childhood Development, in addition to basically free schooling (as reimbursed by Kidango) if you are a teacher aide looking to obtain your AA in ECD. Besides these, though, the kids overall are awesome and absolutely the best part of the job. They'll always put a smile on your face, even on the days where some kids may be struggling in behavior more than others.

Cons

Senior leadership at centers (particularly Site Directors and Regional Directors who only visit every once in a while) execute poorly in their management. My own Site Director did not know the names of some kids who had who had been there for well over a year, plus I was definitely working more hours than her. Because she is salaried, she was able to come and go as she pleased and retain her pay while teachers and aides were at the site actually working. This was not well-supervised since hardly anyone ever came by to check if she was doing her job. During my time working, I also noticed a lot of favoritism among staff and even so far as the handing off of work meant for a Site Director to a regular teacher.
