Pros
Relaxed dress code convenient location next to mrt colleagues are nice
Cons
- Upper management thinks they are hiring the best people to lead the teams but everyone seems inexperienced in the true value of leadership (big titles, no true quality). Many throwing subordinates under the bus situations - lack of clear direction on what needs to be done and how it needs to be executed - plans change every few months - upper management not in sync, sings different tune on every matter and you end up listening to the wrong people for directives - massive hiring and firing as though it's a rollercoaster ride. Recent bulk of massive layoffs treated as a helpline to the company to help them sustain through the next round of fundraising, company has no money to pay salaries soon. Didn't want to declare retrenchment and forced staff (declared as not crucial to business operations aka 2nd tier) to choose to go without pay for months or quit on their own. Once the 2nd tiered batch of staff were successfully forced to leave, CEO go on to announce to those in the first tier that they HAVE MONEY TO PAY SALARIES. - almost everyone i know took a paycut to come work for KooBits with the promise of greater career advancements but it has sadly not come true at all.
