Pros

The 4 on 4 off cycle on the manufacturing side means rest periods are very long.

Cons

Despite a nice public facing impression, behind the scenes they treat their shop floor staff as disposable. Right now they are trying to get rid of headcount as the company struggles to keep up with the market shifts and therefore are loosing money!

A pleasure to work with colleagues who are professionals, not managers. Canteen is onsite.

Cons

Redundancies happen too often. No innovation, virtually no new products to be developed, the company is coasting. Very good benefits in the past - they have been cut down after LifeScan was sold to Platinum Equity. Promotions are in the past - you can work years and years with miserable increase of your salary. Management would promote only "yes man" employees; you get promoted only if your face fits.
