Pros

You get to meet some great comedians.

Cons

EVERY SINGLE THING ABOUT THIS JOB IS CON! I one day came across this website with the mean reviews about the owner Jamie Masada. I thought maybe they just had a bad experience. But no! I understood just a couple weeks into the job that the owner has serious mental issues. He is a psychopath. He harasses his employees. He yells at them. He puts them down in front of others. and above all he is the KING the GOD of all liars. WOW! This mans lies leaves you speechless. ITS THE WORST PLACE TO WORK! He'll make you work for less money, make you work like a dog, and promise how you can get ahead but cuts your head off before the raise. The turn over time in this work place is awful! Everyone knows about it. I promise you, whoever you are, do not even consider working for the Laugh Factory. It might sound glamorous but give it a month you'll remember my words and wish you never stepped foot through that door. Do not be deceived even if you meet Mr. Masada. He is an evil man. Just evil! No one at work likes him. None of management respects him, none of the employees like him, he scares everyone of them, comedians don't respect him they just kiss his butt but he's just an evil man.

Just don't work here

Pros

Free bad comedy shows sometimes

Cons

This is the worst place I've ever worked. There are plenty of friendly, wonderful people who work here but unfortunately the owner is not one of them. Jamie Masada single handedly made my job a major source of dread in my life. I hated every minute I worked there and it was all due to Mr Masada's absurd obsession with micromanagement, lack of respect for his employees, lack of morals, and insistence on providing the most chaotic workplace environment imaginable. I strongly recommend not working here unless you are all out of options and are on the brink of homelessness. Even then, I might still say don't work here. Poor pay, no benefits, lack of respect, disorganization, dumpy workplace, tyrannic owner, the list goes on for miles.
