Pros

Nice co-workers and one nice supervisor

Cons

Had another supervisor that was hired with no leadership skills. HE DID NOTHING and blamed people for things that other people didn't do. Horrible!

Pros

- Great training and free supervision during licensure as well as - Good team of therapists and support staff - Some autonomy in schedule (you could choose to work earlier and leave earlier, if you wanted) - Good benefits & amenities (medical, 4 weeks paid vacation, tuition assistance, own office) - Annual company party with awards that made you feel noticed - Good security protocols - door codes, etc - Felt like you were on a cohesive team with the other therapists and team lead - Standard raises with licensure and years of services (pro and con)

Cons

- Program began to struggle with funding and reduced services for clients and management seemed stressed. Began to feel less job security. - Eliminated some of the perks as the years went on (used to provide bonuses for performance, PTO on your birthday, etc) - Didn't like all of the Psychiatrists or their medical approach to client care - felt they were over worked and did not listen to their patients or collaborate with the therapists as much as they could have. - Large caseloads - Had to spend many days "running clinic"(Taking 5-10 minutes to meet with each doctor's next patient and ask pre screening questions about symptoms and behaviors before they met with the MD). Lost hours or full workdays doing this vs. using skills and training to counsel your clients and personal caseload.

Pros

You are able to make a difference and help others. You never have to work overtime. The hours can be flexible.

Cons

Management is more focused on productivity than quality of service. Management motivates using fear instead of positive motivation. It is difficult to move up in the company unless you have made favor with upper management, and many times they post positions already having someone in mind, and frequently someone from outside of the company.
