Pros
Most of the people are fantastic to work with. Communication was improving greatly along with departments being a lot less siloed. Overall good people and environment with anything below the C suite. Free coffee in the break room and popcorn on Friday’s.
Cons
ERP systems is outdated and will not help move the company into the future. Work load is at times overwhelming due to last minute demands with new products. Constant changes on the whims of the C suite forcing us to rush and overpay for expedited materials and over looking details that had adverse affects on overall production and execution. Pay is not competitive and most employees were denied cost of living raises if they had received a promotion that came along with a pay increase. Multiple layoffs over the last 8 months have caused an uneasiness throughout without considering performance. You are just a number to them. It’s it for sure a boys club, so if you are a female in manufacturing, I wouldn’t even consider it.
