Pros

No doubt, it's a best company to work. Good work life balance. Defenetly recommend to my friends. Have good career opportunities.

Cons

In recent days, we see a step down in internal fairness. When a request comes from an employee (A good resource server about 7 years), management denies. But when the same request comes from another employee, management denies, later after few days we heard that they have agreed. This will make other employees down and feel partiality at workplace.

LiveVox Response

Thank you for sharing your concerns. Fairness is a big priority at LiveVox, and we have designed our people processes and decision-support frameworks to support it. From hiring and promotion criteria, to compensation decisions, our consideration and approval processes ensure we consider internal comparison for fairness. Fairness permeates decisions around all employee requests so it’s tough to respond to this post without knowing the situation. But, in general, there are many considerations that impact decision-making about special requests. Employee tenure is only one and while important, it is never the only one. Others are employee’s performance and capability, the type of work the employee does, the state of their workgroup, the type of work in process at the time of the request and the known work coming up soon. All these matters are considered when employee’s make special requests. After discussing this GlassDoor post feedback with the management team, we felt it may have been in response to an employee’s request to continue working in their job in another country in which LiveVox does not have an office or even a legal entity. LiveVox had rarely had employee requests of this nature before, and recently had a few requests. After all the relevant issues were considered, some requests were approved and some denied. After getting this feedback, we see we may not have effectively explained our decision-making criteria. We have now designed a policy to fully describeour decision framework for such requests. We hope this response helps reinforce LiveVox’s commitment to employee satisfaction and a great employee experience. Thank you again for sharing your concerns!
