Pros
Locus is a fascinating place to work because it attracts people from all walks in life, I really enjoyed the team centered atmosphere and the innovative fermentation technologies that we got to work with on a daily basis. The hourly base pay is pretty good for an entry level manufacturing job and I would not hesitate to recommend the company based on the friendly people that you will meet.
Cons
Locus Bio-Energy is continually improving their products and processes so if you don't like unexpected changes than this company probably won't be a great fit. Communication within and between various departments could be improved by fewer meetings and more intentional planning by management. Lastly I wish that there was a better system in place to submit process improvements or ask questions without going through a string of managers.
