Pros

As a former employee, I was always inspired by Logikcull's mission to help democratize discovery and the technology they provide to law firms. That's why I was a bit disappointed to read the below reviews because they seem manipulative, fake, and written by one person within 1-2 days. Come on, you can do better. Listen, I still believe Logikcull is solving a real problem, they're funded by great VC firms, and provide a great career opportunity. There are a lot of great people at Logikcull and you should take time to get to know them in the interview process.

Cons

There have been a number of leadership changes and turnover that seems to be systemic. I'd recommend you speak with the employees during the interview process and then also go search LinkedIn for all of the former employees. I am not saying someone should not take the job, however I'd recommend doing more research on the company because these Glassdoor reviews below seem odd.

Hey, Andy here. Thanks for sharing your feedback. There’s a lot to unpack here: 1 - Re: Our mission. Our mission to democratize discovery is indeed a genuine one and I’m happy that it attracted you to Logikcull in the first place. Read our customer reviews here: https://www.capterra.com/p/142312/Logikcull/#reviews 2 - Re: Valid reviews. You mention the employee Glassdoor reviews as being “manipulative and fake”, but you also mention Logikcull being a great career opportunity and that there are a lot of great people at Logikcull. I have no way of knowing since these reviews are anonymous, but I assume that the same great people you mention are the ones writing these positive reviews. 3 - Re: leadership changes. This year we’ve been fortunate enough to bring on LauraLee Guerrero as our first VP of People & Places, Michelle Price as our first VP of Design, and Patrick Barry as our first COO. There have been no other leadership changes. 4 - Re: Turnover. Being a fast-growing tech company we’re not immune to turnover. The technology sector has the highest turnover at 13.2%. See data here: https://business.linkedin.com/talent-solutions/blog/trends-and-research/2018/the-3-industries-with-the-highest-turnover-rates As of Q218 our turnover is actually under the tech sector industry standard at 8%. That said, we can, and will, do better. We have close to a dozen employees that have been with Logikcull for over 5 years, and 5 of them have been here for 10+ years. We’re building a company that will last. So we hope to see more people celebrate 5, 10, 15, and 20+ year anniversaries. 5 - Re: Speaking with employees. We know that when candidates are interested in a role at Logikcull they are interviewing us as much as we are interviewing them. We provide employees with multiple rounds of interviews including both technical and cultural questions, with employees across departments, and we leave room for candidates to be able to ask any questions they have of us. We also encourage candidates to find our staff on LinkedIn to prepare for their interviews. We agree that employees should do their research! 6 - Re: Press coverage and the CEO spotlight. We do our best to highlight our amazing employees whenever we can. At all hands events. On the blog. And in interviews. Meet our new VP of Design, Michelle Price: https://blog.logikcull.com/buildingtheloop/logikculls-michelle-price-on-customer-first-design Whew! That was a lot to unpack. Glassdoor is great, but it’s important to hear both sides of these reviews so that, in your words, people can do their homework. Otherwise it’s just hearsay. I hope this was helpful to whomever happens to read these replies! Andy, CEO

Pros

- Most employees are very genuine and extremely helpful - So much opportunity to learn and gain exposure

Cons

As a new SDR you will quickly need to seek someone outside of the sales management team to teach you and help you grow in the role and career. Sales management is extremely unprofessional and frankly unequipped to lead a team of achievers. Constant manipulation and empty promises.

Hey there. This is Andy (CEO). First, thank you for the kind words about the employees here and the opportunity for growth. I agree strongly with those things. Second, thank you for expressing your concerns about the early sales career path at Logikcull. We know that we have to adjust this program and are actively making changes to try to figure out different career paths for our employees. We recently hired a new People Leader to lead this effort, as well as to lead more training for our employees at all levels. I'm sorry that your experience at Logikcull was not as positive as it should or could have been but please know that your concerns have been heard and are being acted upon. - Andy

Pros

Interesting personalities in the office

Cons

They encourage new hires to fill out glass door reviews. The jobs here, at least in the client facing positions, are hard. They do not promote from within under any circumstances so be sure to apply for the job you want 3 years from now. This is not a place to grow.

Hey, Andy here. Looks like we didn’t do a good enough job setting your expectations as an early career hire. My apologies for that - we need to do better. I do want to clear up one thing though. We have a strong track record of promoting from within. Our average tenure is over 5 years and many employees have been promoted from entry levels into leadership roles over the years. You can see this clearly on LinkedIn profiles: https://www.linkedin.com/company/212297/ We wish you all the best at your next stop. Andy
