Pros

Some solid staff members and a few managers who are kind, work their butts off and actually give a crap. You have the potential to make solid money, if management deems it. (You don't get any recognition either way.) Bowling league regulars are very personable and tip fabulously. Never a dull moment. can be flexible and USUALLY understanding.

Cons

Serving positions are only part time, Lack of direction, Favoritism, almost zero communication, only one side of the lanes makes money, Unrealistic expectations without proper knowledge of situations, both employee and manager alike. Tablets and computer systems completely different. Day shift and night shift are polar opposites. Prepare to clean EVERYTHING, and be exhausted if you close. The upper management can be quite prickly. With lots of favoritism. Don't assume everyone who is nice to you, is your friend. Especially if they have worked there a very long time. They have seniority. Most of them are longtime friends with management or otherwise and WILL talk about you. They don't care how hard you work, just how much money you can make them.

Learned a lot

Pros

Learned a lot from direct supervisor. Some managers were willing to share knowledge which was nice.

Cons

Health insurance cost was high with limited coverage options. No WFH options until covid happened and they were federally mandated to send us home to work.
