Pros

In the beginning, everything was great. Co-workers quickly became like family. Fun working environment. In my first year we received lots of free product from vendors. Learned a lot about running and the fitness world. Great pay, came with high standards which was nice because the turnover rate was almost nonexistent and it made you feel valued and important.

Cons

Healthcare was no good but at least it was offered. They had a part time, part time regular and full time position - never understood what part time regular meant but you worked more than part time and maybe an hour less than full time however you did not qualify for full time benefits (paid time off, full time discount, etc). It seemed extremely unfair that PT regular would work just as hard and not receive the same benefits. Not many of the full time workers ever actually worked 40 hours a week, and if you hit overtime, you would be in trouble. Towards the end of employment, we were strung along with promises of a "light at the end of the tunnel" and to "hold on because our loyalty will pay off" when in reality that was NOT the case.

Pros

Better hours than mall hours. Fun environment, good discount.

Cons

No advancement or career opportunities in company unless you live and work in Dallas. Small business that only looks after a select few, if you differ in opinion you are the outcast. Very unfair and inconsistent practices throughout stores.

Pros

Lots of free gear from vendors, great discount for full-time employees, great pay for retail.

Cons

You're expected to volunteer at some races that in reality means mandatorily work for free and not at normal hours. There's a little favoritism, especially in terms of advancement.
