Pros

It is an enjoyable place to work. When you know that you are going to spend most of your weekly living hours with this very friendly, enjoyable and collaborative staff, you will forget the frosty blues and the rush of Monday mornings. Everyone at the company from CEO to co-workers do care about one other and are willing to support each other. The company is well administered, has a great sense of work/life balance and the leadership really wants to see you succeed by maintaining continual communication to find out what your needs are and make sure that your voice has been heard. Moreover, the location in central London increases the demand from skilful people to want to work for this company. Luminet offers good benefits, monthly rewards according to the team achievements, as well as bonuses as you/company grows.

Cons

Low salary for starters. (I was offered higher ranges from other companies, but overall this company fits me best). There is a need to expand the office space as the company is growing. Due to the nature of the work, different departments do have different workloads, and it is difficult to be concentrated at your tasks while the others are talking (chatting) in a relatively high voice.

Pros

Some of the things I would say are; Flexible once you settle in Staff friendly Good location Good benefits Good salary

Cons

I had been one of the longest standing employees and if this review is read by someone from the company they will know who I am. I transitioned from many roles but mainly during the past year as each month went by I grew frustrated with how the company is run. I lost all motivation as I was not being heard and one day woke up on the right side of the bed and realised why am I wasting my skills and life here with nothing to gain. I am not a plodder i cannot be content without seeing progression. I do not want to live my life earning 50k a year. The CEO has had a lot of investment and 10 years to make the right changes but refuses to listen or acknowledge why the company is going down hill. There is no proper marketing person, and in a extremely competitive market there is low amount of sales leads for the team to share. There is always a new plan every few months driven by the CEO with no actual improvement to the business. Some will say I am unaware things that take place but everyone sits in the same room and i am not stupid. Team meetings are glamorised to brush over the truth, here have a pie have some cake. Prior to feeling this way I really wanted a management role so I could make changes to many bad processes, have my voice heard not say "yes" to everything and make my own decisions to help the business. This is why certain past senior people have left but it took me a long time to understand this. After I handed in my notice I felt that some people took it personally and conversations were minimal. I have also left out anything related to staff members as I wouldn't want to implicate them at all as most are good bunch of people. When this is read by the company I can guarantee nothing will be accepted and it will all be made out that I have a personal agenda with the company. "Everything's fine here". If you are a person that can happily plod along day by day saying yes then I believe you will fit in well. All in all no sour grapes I just wished I realised what I was doing earlier and progressed my career sooner. Hopefully this helps someone and that's all its intended to do.
