I worked at MW Cleaners full-time for less than a year

    Pros

You'll eventually get to go home

    Cons

Literally everything. Poor working conditions with heat, heavy lifting, managers send you out back to help washers when THEY aren't doing their job right or quick enough. Unfair pay. As a woman I made $7.25ph yet both males who were hired recieved $9 ph and made constant mistakes. Asked for a raise and was written up for discussing pay when it was the other coworker who spoke up.

I worked at MW Cleaners full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Work by your self all day. Benefits are okay. Discount on dry cleaning. The other drivers are pretty cool. They give you pants, shorts and shirts for your uniforms

    Cons

Door to door sales, in a territory that’s been worked for years , work at least 1 Saturday a month for free knocking on doors. They say it’s a salary but it’s 100 % commission.

I worked at MW Cleaners full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Rank and File employees are usually cool, Benefits are good for the type of industry. You can have facial hair.....

    Cons

CSR/Counter Manager- Low pay starting off, You have to sort through dirty sometimes soiled clothes, Quarterly meetings (off location) that could be done with a simple e-mail, Every other Saturday all day, Disconnect between Upper management and lower. Route Driver- DOOR-TO-DOOR SALES, You will be told you have a great opportunity to grow your own route, it can be done but but it could take years to make the type of money they talk about in the interview. $350-600 week starting on a small route. 45-55 Hours a week + 2 Saturdays a month doing door to door sales (1 being an 8 hour if you miss your numbers). Controlling management! Micro manage everything. Pre-scheduled vacation days cancelled with little notice, because they had nobody to cover routes due to poor management. So much turnover in the route division due to pressure of door to door sales and stress from management. 90's style of sales- 100% commission and on sales days where you make no sales ( 50% of the time) you don't get paid a penny. YES door-to-door during the summer. No time for lunch breaks, eat on the go. Management will not spend money on marketing, that is where you come in... HUGE corporate disconnect. Suggestions go un-noticed and requests get denied. Not allowed off anytime between November and January (except management) Very few tools for success. Work phone for door to door sales and tracking you. Very little sales training. Very little training about the industry (most drivers could not tell you a thing about the dry-cleaning/outside services process) Management will threaten you with your job. Management's bonus is based your performance. If its a bad month (heavy rain, loss of customers, etc) guess who gets to have a meeting. Ever been bit by a dog? You will very rarely hear the words "thank you" or "good job" even when you put in the extra effort and go way beyond.

I worked at MW Cleaners full-time for less than a year

    Pros

working independently in a nice van

    Cons

long hours with no overtime- Please these Texas laws allowing drivers on Salary to work long hours need to go-disorganized at the center- big promises and no delivery. Rode with a manager who was rude and drove very fast in residential neighborhoods.

I worked at MW Cleaners full-time for less than a year

    Pros

One day after you've been there a while and you realize that this is a sinking ship, you leave with no regrets.

    Cons

Minimum wage or worse, because you are required to knock on doors on Saturdays asking residents to be dry cleaning customers, and after they tell you no 100 times, you go home with no pay. What a way to keep your staff motivated. Drivers come and go weekly. No plan from management, they simply wing it, day to day.
