I have been working at MarketSource part-time

    Pros

You have to come into this job with a goid attitude. If you're not prepared to drive sales or don't like being helpful to other customers, you won't like the job. Pay structure is decent and so were the hours. Very flexible and my DM was super nice. You need to have LOTS of patience, especially when selling phones to seniors through Consumer Cellular!

    Cons

Your MarketSource DM, team, and Target leadership will make or break you. You can have a wonderful MarketSource crew, but if Target leadership doesn't like you, it'll make your job harder. You need lots of patience and general tech knowledge, as training isn't very good.

I have been working at MarketSource part-time for less than a year

    Pros

I liked the people I worked with and working at Target was fun as you meet a lot of people.

    Cons

The cons were that the pay rate is low (11$) well below 15$ which is what Target employees were making in New Jersey. And plus you would work 38 hours and still not be full time.

  9. "Slow Job"

Former Employee - Wireless Sales Associate

I worked at MarketSource part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Little supervision from the managers. I have a strong work ethic, so this was the ideal situation for me.

    Cons

Because there was no supervision, it was incredibly difficult to get trained. Scheduling was a mess.
