    There are quite a lot of business units like Chinese Restaurant / Cakes and Barkey / Japanese Chian Restaurant where you can enjoy meeting new friends with different background and working culture.

    Salary is a bit below average/ hard to get a promotion

    I have been working at Maxim's Group full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Great employee benefits, insurance covers whole family, dining discounts across all outlets etc. Strong leadership need for progress, rewards performance.

    Cons

    Office is filled with politics and in-fighting, layers upon layers of bureaucracy. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it mentality prevails. Chinese men are the only ones who are promoted to upper management.
