Let me start off with two examples. While working for Medical Dynamics, I was forced to use one of my sick days due to a close family member being in an accident. One would think that I would have received a concerned and apologetic response to this. Instead, I was "accidentally" cc'd on an email from the CEO to my managers threatening to fire me over me being absent.
Another time I had to take a sick day due to me having an allergic reaction from the flu shots that were given out in the office, I came back to find out that not only had the CEO thrown everything on my desk out (including notes and information that I used for work on a daily basis) but also a pair of my shoes that I had left hidden under my desk. My co-worker nicely fished these out of the garbage for me. All because god forbid I missed a day of work.
It is absolutely appalling how the CEO of this company treats her employees. She is a tyrant who creates such a hostile environment in the office that most employees last no longer than a couple months. Most don't even give two weeks they just don't come back. I have never heard of such a high turnaround rate in an office. This company is a sinking ship and the CEO is holding the anchor. She clearly has no idea how to run a company except into the ground. The HR department no longer even exists due to everyone quitting and the COO is the only one keeping the company afloat at this point.
It is obvious that the CEO is a tormented and troubled human being who has major psychological issues. I left because I needed to be in a positive surrounding where I could grow and learn and it was becoming more and more apparent that this could never happen at Medical Dynamics. I pity the CEO, it is sad that she will never be happy and will never be successful due to her own personal issues. The place is a train wreck and there is no salvaging it.
