You will wake up on a Wednesday and attempt to log on to start your day, only to find an email that says you’ve been let go due to a reduction in force. Several of you. Even the very top performers. No notice whatsoever. In fact you may have even had a team meeting with your supe just 2 days before where you were told of some of the improvements that were coming that would make your job easier. Because even the supes had no idea this RIF was coming. They also woke up that Wednesday morning and discovered half their staff was gone. People in tears. 2 weeks severance pay. No warning at all. One minute you have a job with 4-5 years seniority, you are a top performer, the company is billing out thousands and thousands of dollars based on your work, you are getting nothing but praise and positive feedback about how well you’re doing, and then you wake up one Wednesday and you have nothing. No job, no money coming in, no health insurance.

Pay, raises, lack of bonus after telling you we’re getting one. Lack of management support. Toxic work environment

Pay is lower than most companies in this field. Not enough time off.

At MSC it’s you against them. Management is a tight knit club and if you have an issue with one of them you have an issue with ALL of them. There is NO WHERE to go if you need help. Management is ruthless and uncaring all the way up to the CEO. I was discriminated against and harassed daily due to documented health issues and was on FMLA. The management was relentless and vicious in their harassment.

To many acquisitions so close together.

Recent management changes have stripped this company from that family structure that they sell you during the interview process and meet and greets. Insurance benefits are poor and PTO accrual as well. Employees are not treated as they are a part of the MSC family. Directors, Executive team and HR Staff are very cut throat. Managers and Supervisors have no voice in the decision making process.

The company makes millions each month but you will be lucky if you get a 2% raise once a year.
