I have had an incredibly positive experience working at Meridian. The leadership and supervisory team here is exceptional, and their influence on my growth as a therapist has been invaluable. The environment is genuinely supportive, providing a safe space for vulnerability and open communication. I want to highlight Sandra, the founder, who truly embodies a commitment to excellence. Her active involvement in the company speaks volumes about her dedication to improving the experience for both clients and therapists. The administrative team is also outstanding; they handle client requests, insurance, and other administrative tasks seamlessly, allowing me to focus more on my work with clients. I feel truly grateful to be part of this organization, and it's exciting to see how Meridian continues to grow positively every day. I plan on staying with Meridian for some time to come.
Cons
The cons to working for Meridian that I can think of is not enough semi annual/annual meetings that keep the associates informed but I’m sure that isn’t a typical issue for people.
I started at Meridian Counseling as a therapist and have grown into a clinical supervisor — something I never imagined possible when I first joined. Leadership here truly cares about our growth and listens to feedback, which makes you feel valued and supported every step of the way.
What I love most is the company’s commitment to clinical quality and doing what’s best for clients. It’s not about shortcuts or numbers — it’s about meaningful, evidence-based care. If you’re passionate about growing as a clinician and want to be part of a team that leads with integrity and heart, Meridian is the place to be.
Cons
The work can be fast-paced and things are always evolving, which might feel overwhelming at times if you’re not comfortable with change. Because the company is growing quickly, processes and systems are updated often — but leadership is transparent about changes and genuinely open to feedback. It’s definitely a place where you grow by being adaptable and proactive.
