Metafile does not engage in yearly salary increases and until they were purchased, didn't believe in doing yearly reviews to open the conversation naturally. The only way to move or feel continued value in the company is to move job titles. The company is very driven by managing employee time to generate as much profit as possible. All of this combines to a period of the "great resignation" of senior employees. Combined with layoffs, it feels as if the company's greatest flaw is keeping talent and it isn't something they prioritize. Training is the second major flaw and is something the company has struggled with until recently.
