      Pros

      If you can't afford or can't get into the University of Minnesota, and you can't afford or don't want to leave the Metro, Metro State is the college of last resort.

      Cons

      It was a toxic workplace before I started, and it continued to be a toxic workplace after I left. I take comfort in the fact that the people who made it toxic continue to work there, and the people who tried to make a difference were able to get out.

      Very interesting curricular design challenges Coworkers are generally very good people

      Cons

      Institution is suffering under intense MN State Bureaucracy, especially recent push for FtF instructions when students don't want this
