Pros
The benefits are great. They allow swaps so you can take long periods of time off as long as you're willing to work doubles or for weeks straight or however you choose. Those are the two absolute best parts of the job.
Cons
The trainers dont want to train and it shows. They're forced to train and it is reflected upon their trainees. Some of them are mean, nasty and try to sabotage you. You're already being judged before you make it to the floor. There's many inconsistencies with training. You're taught policy in class (which is about 4 to 5 months long) and when you get to the floor your trainer will tell you not do policy (because a lot of them are so used to doing things their way) therefore when you go to a new trainer next month they tell you something different. Every month you're with a new trainer which creates even more inconsistencies. The trainers can get very picky about certain things and add to the pressures of the job. Trainees are scared to say they're being attacked, bullied or mistreated because they know itll backfire. Trainers know its easy for them to get you fired. Mostly the older ones and they're very disrespectful to the trainees, their coworkers and even the supervisors and managers. Lots of FAVORTISM! There's a clear lack of respect and very cliquey. It's like high school all over again. And also, you're penalized (and possibly terminated) for things that are completely out of your control.
