Pros

Occasional period undies. It’s the people who make you stay.

Cons

If you not panicked you not working hard enough. There have been instances where all team members have experienced high levels of pressure and burnout. This is an issue that needs to be addressed promptly, as it not only affects our overall productivity but also our well-being. We need to ensure that a healthy work-life balance is maintained, and that individuals are not constantly pushed beyond their limits. It seems this has been the norm. While no leadership team is perfect. But there are only 3 standing and 1 that is respected and can lead. The new ED uses passive-aggressive tactics and pressure to scare people from slipping. Has the whole company on edge and scared. Some departments have been asking for years for more roles to be created. But the new ED is creating roles for their “buddies”. It appears that some of these roles are being filled without appropriate consideration for existing employees. This leads to a lack of opportunities for growth and promotions for those who have dedicated their time and effort to the company. Transparency and fairness in the hiring process are essential for fostering a positive work environment. No one was notified about the hiring processes for these new roles they were just started. Everyone including the LT team were notified via email. Messages and emails that are expected to be replied to after hours that sales are getting bigger to “make budget”. Having no incentive to make budget as bonuses come with extremely unachievable benchmarks. There have been reports of unrealistic expectations regarding availability and responsiveness outside of work hours. It is essential to provide incentives that are achievable and fair. Asking for after-hours responses without proper compensation or recognition ultimately demotivates our team and affects morale. Conveniently the last survey was completed 3 months ago- still no results. It is important that our opinions and feedback are acknowledged and taken into consideration. Transparency and timely feedback are crucial for building trust within our organization as everyone is scared to speak up if they will get cut like the last person who was made redundant overnight. Certain teams are favourited and creates an environment reminiscent of bullying behavior- think Mean Girls. Pays are extremely low but the favoritism teams get higher pay rises while others miss out. The values they sell you are far from what are.

Worst company culture

Pros

It’s a great product with lots of potential

Cons

Hands down one of the worst company cultures I’ve ever experienced. Incredibly toxic work environment that leaves you deflated and anxious. Absolutely no oversight of the management team and no protections for staff. Performance metrics are murky. There is the expectation that you need to sacrifice your work-life balance in order to succeed in the company. Diversity and inclusion efforts were superficial at best.

Pros

- Good product (at the time it was new but now there are better options for better price) - Some of the people that work there are very hard working and talented

Cons

- Its a very nasty company. "We are a family" was constantly used to explain away toxic behaviour from management. - Inflexible working conditions - TERRIBLE pay..like wow. - Bad planning and staff are constantly stressed. - The role I was hired for was immediately given to a 3rd party agency and I worked on lower impact work that wasn't even what I interviewed for. - A very catty culture in management. It was an internal joke "we all cry at least once" - When given multiple tasks with the same deadline I asked my manager to help me prioritize and support as I don't have the resource to get it all done. I was told to "stop giving me attitude". - Used underwear would need to be looked at and sorted. Absolutely disgusting work. We were the ones who did this (never mentioned in contract) - Office location
