51% positive business outlook
Pros
Some fun and energetic people
Cons
The culture of the engineering team eroded over time. Some managers are not friendly/approachable - No appreciation of work.
Pros
good culture, great Leaders and Managers and lots of support
Cons
as a start-up salary and benefits may not be competitive
Pros
- Strong pool of individually talented employees across functions. - People are skilled, collaborative, and demonstrate a genuine desire to improve customer experience when given the opportunity. - Exposure to cross-functional work, offering visibility into multiple departments and business areas.
Cons
- Leadership is heavily influenced by legacy perspectives, with initiatives often delayed and driven top-down without clear purpose. - Decision-making tends to favor long-standing relationships over objective, data-driven or ground-level feedback. - Lack of diversity at the top management level leads to limited perspectives in strategic decisions. - Significant time spent on polished presentations and internal alignment rather than actionable outcomes. - Senior leadership prioritizes vanity metrics over meaningful business impact, with slow response to market changes. - Organizational culture rewards consensus-building and “pleasing” behaviors over agility, critical thinking, and innovation. - Product function lacks clear roadmap visibility, with frequent delays and minimal innovation. - Product leadership often lacks practical experience, leading to over-reliance on buzzwords rather than execution. - Product managers have limited autonomy and are largely executing top-down directives. - Marketing strategy is overly theoretical and disconnected from real market dynamics. - Frequent use of external consultants and tools without clear ROI or accountability, leading to inefficient budget use. - Internal culture in Marketing discourages ownership, with misalignment often attributed to resource constraints rather than prioritization issues. - Design team is underutilized and not empowered strategically, often reduced to executing low-impact tasks. - Customer Service lacks accountability, with frequent blame-shifting and insufficient product understanding. - Commercial team can be internally focused and misaligned with client needs, with inconsistent adherence to professional standards. - Operations team lacks clear direction and strategic guidance, limiting their effectiveness. - Cross-department collaboration is often inefficient, with unclear ownership and frequent misalignment.
Pros
The company culture and employee perks are what makes the offer stand out the most
Cons
1) The company is middle heavy, i.e., more managers and discussions and less people to do the work which pretty much extends the the amount of time taken to complete a task. 2) The company often times keeps the employees in dark with respect to how they are REALLY doing in terms of investments and funding and where was it spent, posing a big question on the CXO's 3) People are told that the company's work timings are flexible and that the importance is placed on the value of the employee's work. Well that's not true. You will be judged on basis of the time you spend on your desk, doesn't matter if you do the work or not. 4) The people culture which was the deciding factor for joining the company has been degrading continously
Pros
Lots of trust placed in employees which means great role autonomy and flexibility in the way you can work. DTO (discretionary time off) means there is no strict limit on leave entitlement and you can take a break from work as and when it is needed Really supportive working environment - everyone is willing to support and help each other The senior leaders really take onboard any feedback and do their best to meet the needs of their employees A lot of emphasis put on training employees to be good managers and leaders
Cons
Sometimes communication between different departments is not as clear as it needs to be Being a start-up the priorities can change quickly Currently no health insurance provided in the benefits package
Pros
- Flexible working hours policy and great working culture - Manager does not micromanage and supportive approach - Offers good work life balance
Cons
- Perks and Benefits can be better
Pros
1. Nice teammates, being treated as a family 2. No micromanage 3. A lot of supports from reporting manager 4. Good DTO & WFH policy 5. High transparency
Cons
Resources have been reduced due to various of factors
Pros
Managers and senior-level staff care for the people who work there Good benefits of having a flexible approach to work in the technology team Good technology stack and approaches to responsibilities of developers Culture principles promote responsibility and accountability
Cons
There is always a lot going on, so you may sometimes feel a bit lost. If that happens, talk to your manager. The business needs to respond to real-world changing situations very fast, this may be disconcerting sometimes. No one is really going to tell you what to do, you must be self-motivated if you want to learn. Good and bad.
Pros
- Employees are generally friendly - Managers don't micromanage - Nice office and pantry with free snacks and drinks
Cons
- Very poor benefits - High attrition rate of employees - Hard to ask for an increment - Inefficient people team - Some managers are not friendly/approachable - Very slow to no career growth
Pros
Employees are nice, I felt very welcome at first but then it turned out they're there to follow the CEO's vision of the world; if they disagree with you, they will report you to the management for not being a cultural fit.
Cons
Management is extremely lazy, they admitted during my employment they're there just for the extra $ so don't bother taking to them, no action will ever be taken. I asked my manager to help me get more responsibilities and guide me to be a manager one day too, then he started cancelling our 1:1 constantly and that was it. Then he blamed ME for being discouraged! Don't count on the management or HR. HR doesn't respect privacy, I learned facts about other employees that should stay private from the HR and I didn't ever ask about them! Other than that, stabbing in the back is a norm despite of having "no politics" as one of the core values--as soon as you point out what they do wrong and try to improve it, other employees will try to get rid of you because you "keep adding them work" (<- I got this exact message on slack from another senior engineer and NO ACTION was ever taken from management side! Feel free to threat and harass as much as you want...)
