Pros

- People are great everyone up there are very welcoming and fun to work with - They keep the sales atmosphere fun with contests, food etc - One of the better (if not the best) planned out companies I have work for. Excellent vision for company and management does well keeping everyone in the loop. Hope you guys keep climbing the ladder on fastest growing companies!

Cons

- Pay is horrible. I was told by 2 recruiters and 2 hiring managers what to expect on income if I met expectations for production - reality was after 8 months I earned 45% of what they told me. Had they been transparent about average income I would not have even shown up for the interview. - New hire turnover rate is a big red flag, of the 10 people I started with only 3 made it more than 6 months. This was a similar trend for every monthly class hired in behind me. A lot of this can be attributed to expectations vs reality on income IMO - Insurance is more of a penalty and you have to take it vs a benefit. I found my own private insurance for 50% of the cost of what I would have paid through company “benefit”

Pros

Work life balance, great training, okay culture and free snacks.

Cons

Micro management, toxicity from management, no real money to be made. For example, we actually had a manager host a surprise meeting and need five people, since everyone was working through leads, not many people responded quickly. Because of this, she said “ I will turn off your leads if we don’t get one more person in here. “. It’s really just a toxic culture along with the fact that for the first 6 weeks you don’t make any commission regardless if you’re the top performer in the company. To add even more injury, you drop down to 30K base when you do make small commissions. Then finally, this isn’t really a sales job. We just help transfer utilities and home services for free, but we include pushing them onto security which is how reps really make money but that isn’t sales because 90% of the time, the prospect has some level of interest and they think of it as being apart of the home buying process. If you want a real career in sales such as SDR, BDR or AE, stay away from here. No emolyer is going to know what a concierge is and isn’t going to consider this role a real sales job.

Pros

~ It's really about selling Security Systems so be forwarned, everything else is a front to just get as many working partner-based Security Systems sold as humanly possible. At least the hiring manager was clear and open about this upon hiring me.

Cons

The whole concept of Utility Concierge is really a front for something else and will for many, myself included feeling morally grey.
