Little or no infrastructure, designated departments or efficient systems in place. When I was hired by the CEO's wife, she went right into when I could start training. I literally had to ask her what exactly they were offering me from a salary standpoint. My first day of "training" was spent sitting with the CEO and literally watching him go through the massive paperwork on his desk - that's always fun for a high caliber person. If you're not careful, you'll be set up for failure and will be given blatantly wrong or misleading information. The CEO will ask you to work on a project which will take up a lot of your time and then he'll change his mind multiple times about what he really wants and your time will be completely wasted. He has unrealistic expectations of what your job entails and is condescending toward women. Visibly, a very blue collar company that flies by the seat of its pants.

Poor management ( micromanagement) Very poor routing/scheduling from dispatch office Last minute notices on benefits changes and disrespectful communication via text and email. No presence of HR. 6 days a week, sometimes 10-11 hours ( especially in summer) No PTO, days off need to be scheduled weeks in advance and submitted via email.
