Pros
Only pro to working for this agency is that you can pick your days and hours.
Cons
You cannot control what ward you go to (moving staff is the norm and don’t expect to go were you have booked) Negative attitudes toward nhsp staff( you will be singled out and basically abused mentally throughout your shift, especially if you can’t advocate for yourself ) Nhsp behave in a militant manner towards their staff. If you have been reported , you will be stopped from booking shifts before you have been contacted about an issue (you are guilty until proven otherwise ) . This isn’t great especially if you have those that rely on you. Doesn’t work as a full time job , it is better as a back up or part time unless you can find a ward that will block book you. Nhsp have stopped the majority of night shifts ,mainly mon-Friday day shifts available. (Daily rate is poor for what you have to endure) Permanent staff will try and intimidate you into doing their job(giving medication or blood sugars) you should not be doing unless trained properly. You truly need to know your job role to make sure that this doesn’t happen.

Hello there and thank you for taking the time to leave us a review about your experience. We are really pleased to hear that you are enjoying the flexible way of working. However we are sorry to hear that you have not had such a great experience whilst working on the wards. This concerns us as we really want to ensure our bank members re happy and feel supported. We would really appreciate you taking the time to let us know a bit more about any issues you have experienced so that we may look into this. Attached below is our feedback form if you would like to tell us more. We really do hope you will get in touch so that we can support you. Thanks again - Your NHSP Team. https://www.nhsprofessionals.nhs.uk/en/campaigns/support-and-feedback
