From dream to nightmare
20 Mar 2023 - Senior Software Engineer in BudapestRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Some cool colleagues who haven't quit despite everything.
Cons
Shockingly low salaries. Own programming language: xscript. Incompetent CEO and his close circle of friends. No salary reviews, they force you to resign so they don't have to pay severance pay. HO policy changes based on the CEO's lonely mood. "Innovative" developments that have never been completed for over 5 years. The modern-day Nokia.

Good chairs and toilets. It used to be more than that.
Cons
The company invests in technologies that it cannot sell, while simultaneously laying off employees from the business unit that generates its revenue. Not a future proof strategy.

4 Oct 2022 - Senior Developer in BudapestRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great community, friendly atmosphere. Depending on your position, lots of variety in your work. The company is always trying its best to improve and innovate.
Cons
Management has lots of deficiencies. Depending on your position, you might have to work with non-standard technology (the company has its own script language). Difficult to get promotion/raise even with outstanding performance.

Declining outlooks
19 Oct 2022 - Senior Software Engineer in BudapestRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- flexible working hours / (almost) full home office
Cons
- in-house solutions for everything (UI, script language, interface framework, test framework, etc.) - incompetent management (they read an article or survey about something, the next day that is the new 'vision') - salary is below industry standards after 2022's inflation rate
