      Look elsewhere unless this is your best option or you are chinese

      Pros

      -Good office interiors and location in Santa Clara. - If you are working for Chinese market, it is a decent place to work. There is low competition due to preference for Chinese technology by major buyers (either government or govt funded enterprises)

      Cons

      - Being a subsidiary of Chinese security company, it will be a challenge to sell any product in US or EMEA market irrespective of how good the product maybe. - Most of development is done in China, so language can be an issue. - US office is full of directionless, egoistic leaders who cannot craft their own unique vision for the company. The COO is a a suave salesman - he will sell you a great vision for your career. But it may never materialize.

      No pros here at all.

      Cons

      - Most people here are Chinese and have their own groups. This place does not value or embrace diversity in thought, creativity or innovation. - The CEO is absent, is not involved and doesnt care about employees. - There is no respect or value for employees. Promotions are promised and nothing is delivered on. - Constant revolving door of people who are either getting fired or leaving on their own. - Very long hours and little to no resources or help. - There is no appreciation for hardwork and performance. - Highly political environment and constant throwing of people under the bus for individual success. - Many talk a big game and don't do much or add any great value. Constantly throwing everyone under the bus, and favoritism is the only ingredient to success here. - There is NO CULTURE here! - Very poor leadership team and senior management. They operate in a vaccum and have terrible leadership and communication skills.

      Pros

      NSFOCUS is in a unique position to open a new level of Threat Intelligence to the North American Market. No other provider can offer Cyber Threat Intelligence from the Americas, EMEA, APAC and China. In addition the product have unique technology advantages over the competitors and the only provider to have a fully comprehensive network security platform (as rolled out over 2016 & 2017). Has a great work culture and true start-up mentality even though backed by serious venture capital and large corporation. Look closely majority ownership of NSFOCUS IB is US based and they have brought on a stellar Executive Team

      Cons

      None for culture or company commitment to employees. Over 2016 the brand awareness will improve and NSFOCUS will be a serious NA player for network security.
