Horrible place to work, right idea, but unable to execute

Pros

Beautiful surroundings, new environment, fast paced, bonuses given to very low level employees, which is unusual, still offer a defined pension plan

Cons

Critically deficient in the support of staff especially IT, hopelessly outdated, inept and incapable HR dept and Executive team, non-existent work life balance, pay is in the 50th percentile, but hours are in the 90th percentile, no work from home, not closings due to weather, lack vision and ability to support vision if they had one. Benefits are very expensive.

Not a great place to work

Pros

Long term and short term bonus. Part of the salary structure. All employees get the same percentage. If quit the job, big portion of the salary is lost for that year.

Cons

Absolutely no telework even though employees are fully capable. In horrible weather condition, management will remind you to bring your laptop home so you can work remotely. But as long as you are not sitting in a chair in the CFC facility, you have to take a vacation day no matter how much work you have to finish at home. HR is not capable of doing anything beneficial for the employees - only listen to upper management.
