Benefits are pretty basic, though they're looking at finally adding a 401k plan, supposedly. Some positions aren't compensated fairly. Both Verde Solutions and Navigate Power had been growing quite fast, but it has slowed down somewhat due to various reasons both within and outside of their control. On the Verde side, there is some lack of cohesion between the energy efficiency and renewables groups, which causes some problems for projects that involve both sides. Some systems and processes have substantial room for improvement, as well. Exacerbating these challenges is that the sales people are primarily external contractors paid by commission, and many of them have little to no prior background in energy. This makes the work somewhat chaotic and unpredictable, though that is to be expected to some extent at a small but growing business. The office location is somewhat inconvenient for transit users and the building isn't great, but I understand why they are located there.
