Pros

Exposure to Diverse Technologies MSPs serve multiple clients across industries, so you’ll work with various platforms, tools, and environments—great for expanding your technical skill set. Fast-Paced Learning Because MSPs handle many different issues daily, you’ll gain experience quickly and develop strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Career Growth Opportunities Many MSPs promote from within and offer certifications or training programs, making it easier to advance your career. Strong Job Security MSP services are in high demand as businesses outsource IT to reduce costs and improve efficiency, so roles tend to be stable.

Cons

High Workload & Stress Supporting multiple clients often means juggling priorities, tight deadlines, and frequent emergencies. Lower Pay Compared to In-House Roles MSP positions sometimes pay less than equivalent roles at large enterprises because MSPs operate on thin margins. Limited Specialization You’ll become a generalist rather than a deep specialist since you need to cover a wide range of technologies for different clients. Pros

Management is very in touch with the areas of the company that need improvement and are always striving to improve those areas. Fastest growing company that I've ever worked at yet even with the fast growth the owners and management run a very healthy business. Company has no debt so never worried about company running into trouble. If you are good and strive to be great they will help you get there. If you express your desire to move into management the company will help you get there( not what I wanted for myself but I've watched friends and coworkers make the move successfully) Company has been expanding nationally so you get to travel a lot if you want to. Owners are very personable and down to earth. Pay is good but if you perform well then pay is better than you can get anywhere in this industry. Management has no tolerance for employees that are toxic, employees that aren't nice or people that take the joy out of coming to work, regardless of how smart they are.

Cons

You sometimes need to figure too much out by yourself because with all the growth, people get very busy. Sometimes can be stressful as it can be very fast paced.

Pros

- Amazing coworkers. The entire consulting and development team is full of talented and fun individuals - Great opportunity to learn a lot on both the business side of clients and also the technical side of the products worked on - Vast array of client types and personalities to help build good experience

Cons

- Company has lost a lot of its culture as it has grown - Pay doesn't always match level and amount of work done - Very slow career growth - Bonus structure is based on what clients have paid and not what was worked so if clients don't pay, you don't get credit - Benefits aren't the greatest

Pros

FYA Program: I joined N@W as a first year associate. The FYA program was robust, I got to learn a lot from multiple leaders within the org. The Chief learning officer is so nice and has a great team of people that will make sure you get the most out of your experience. The team building activities are the BEST!! Great Learning Opportunity: I was able to learn how to use a lot of tools during my time there. I had the best co-workers and they were willing to help whenever I asked.

Cons

Not competitive pay: Pay was low and not competitive with industry standards based on role and location (NYC). No roadmap for career growth: This is specific to my department, managed services. I could not see a path to levelling up, people have been in the same role/level for years. I feel like management should promote internal growth and skill growth for everyone.
