Lack of communication between NOC team
Lack of promotions, no raises annually or over career span
No chances to work with other departments to learn different skills
Management is harsh and lacks respect for lower level employees
Metrics and raises are centered around amount of phone calls taken, not the true hard work or ticket work that is performed
Pay is below pretty much every NOC that is in the greater Richmond VA area and raises will not occur, difficult to earn certificates are valued at 50 cents and take up to a month to be "evaluated" after a technician passes one and submits papers
