Pros

None at this current state of company.

Cons

1. Founders lied about funding of $20 million and lured many people to join. 2. I joined in Jan 2020 and later I got to know they had financial issues before my joining too but they did not communicated to me at all. 3. Some people joined in March and conditioned had gone worse but they still hired people without thinking about them so they are selfish. 4. People in HR team are incompetent as they don't not understood the startup dynamics and were running this small company like a fortune 500 company. 5. Founders are immature, they don't respect candidates coming for interview if they did not like them and show utter contempt to them. 6. Founders just want to take benefit of early staff who joined them because they offered good salaries and hide all the facts about funding. I think they thought the employees will stick around as it takes time to switch and whatever people can contribute it will be beneficial to them as anyways they own 100% of equity. 7. They don't understand Engineering and people in Engineering are not of high caliber. 8. They deducted my taxes for Jan - Mar 2020 but they could not credit it to GoI account till today. 9. Overall I felt they did not had right intentions from start and I made a big mistake by joining them. These are my personal views and you should ask relevant questions to make sure you understand them and make the right choice in the end.

Pros

1. The company was a pretty decent. place to work at. 2. Decent product market fit. 3. Bootstrapped and profitable.

Cons

1. The company has a 4 day work from office policy and a strict nine hour in office policy (you are monitored whether you are at your desk) which I find nonsensical to measure productivity of engineers 2. The company has no trust on its employees in fact post exit of the other founder it's pretty much dictatorial especially with regards to tech the management never consults senior engineers on how systems should be designed. 3. I would suggest if you are a junior to avoid this organization as it will not promote your growth blindly letting coding agents generate code without an afterthought or having a clear cut thought process won't make you a better engineer. 4. If you are someone who wants to build a system while considering all corner cases as well as provisioning for future use cases and scale this is not the place. The philosophy is more along the lines of build code quick through genai if it breaks in prod we'll fix it then. 5. I'm repeating this but the management does not know how to measure productivity of engineers. They really do not know how to talk respectfully and expect folks to remain loyal to the organization. 6. The company genuinely had a better environment but post some changes it does not feel like any decent startup I've worked at infact felt more like a lala org rather than even the average Indian service sector company.

Pros

- Dedicated team of people for their work goals - Always ready for help to each other and support like a family. - Supportive owners and always ready to accept new technologies suggested by Technical team - Can explore new things for personal growth and also for product better future. - Each team member is giving his/her 100% to grow the company. - Company is giving time for personal life balance also. not any strict rules.

Cons

- Team is small as a startup. So for personal technical growth , You have to do something for yourself what you want to achieve. - Sometimes, needs to stretch for some tasks to achieve as product is live . But happy to accept new challenges - While growing , you have to face some tech hiring issues and decisions mistakes. But it's good thing if learns from mistakes and don't repeat it again.
