Pros

There were some GREAT coworkers and managers.

Cons

Engineers and Install techs are overworked and under paid. They get burned out easily due to the amount of travel. At the annual company conference, the CEO will talk about his new cars, or his new boat...tell us how even in a recession HE was able to keep the company in the black. But then turn around and say there is no budget for promotions or raises and that we all need to keep our heads down and work.

Pros

Pays the bills. pays the bills Pays the bills. pays the bills

Cons

Takes your sanity, your health, and your life. This company advertises a laid back and relaxed atmosphere where people are friendly and the work is great. However, the truth is the atmosphere is extremely rigid, uptight, the people are extremely abrasive and unprofessional. Many of the lower level employees are stuck here as they will develop similar tendencies as their management role-models. Most employees are socially awkward but extremely confrontational. The processes here are over-saturated and everyday, there are more policies and procedures and changing daily. It's absolutely impossible to be a part of this company and stay sane.

Pros

Very broad and deep product offerings, clear potential for leadership in the industry. Technical folks know their stuff inside and out, and the support is there when you need it. Very well positioned to take out a lot of popup, smaller competitors. CEO is involved in the day to day, adds personal touch when needed on accounts, very rare and wonderful quality.

Cons

Feels as though the company is a "operations and engineering" company and lacks emphasis for its salespeople, as evidenced by lack of investment into sales staff and tools they are given: very little in the way of proper research tools, salespeople are expected to "just use google to find contact info," all the while using a very outdated CRM system. CRM system is on lockdown: Zero insight into granular activity, reporting, or other accounts. Everything is "process, process, process, procedure, procedure, procedure"...very little flexibility, while not directly stated, there is a "we've always done it this way" mentality, which is dangerous for a technology company. Health Insurance is stupidly expensive, only given 10 vacation days/year - Not competitive enough in the marketplace.
