Pros

North Star Inbound is a great place to work. You are given the autonomy to set your own schedule and actually achieve a healthy work/life balance. Many companies promise this, however it is something I feel every employee has the opportunity to achieve at North Star Inbound. There is room for career growth as the team grows. Employee recognition is also very apparent starting from day 1, both from colleagues right up to ownership. I feel like my contributions to the team are genuinely appreciated and rewarded and that my input is valued and acted upon. Nicole is extremely transparent with feedback, vision for my growth within the company as well as the growth of the organization. My move to North Star Inbound came from a larger organization that I was initially hesitant to make, however I am extremally glad that I did as I was immediately embraced as contributing member and leader of the team. The benefits are in line with industry standards both from a salary perspective as well as offering health insurance, retirement contributions, paid time off and flexible holidays.

Cons

It's a smaller agency which is fully remote which isn't for everyone.

Pros

The standards for creating a truly great modern workplace increase every year. North Star meets or exceeds them all. This is a human-centered company and I'm so happy to be here. The work is as fun and interesting as you'll find anywhere, the clients are diverse, and the team is warm, welcoming and cooperative. There are no egos, no unrealistic expectations, no mean people, no bureaucracy, it's amazing! I'm so impressed with the owner, Nicole. She puts an incredible amount of effort and care into this company. She's someone who's easy to work hard for. She's equally passionate about doing great work, taking care of clients, and supporting her employees.

Cons

It's a very small company, which means it won't be a fit for everyone, particularly those looking for more of a corporate feel, or who want to work for a place that's really well-known. If you need people salivating over the logos in your Experience thread on LinkedIn, this is probably ain't your jam.

Pros

North Star's small team and startup-like environment means that you really have a voice in building the best content and the best company possible. There's a lot to learn and a lot of humble people to learn from. We have a flexible work environment. Everyone is trusted and has the freedom to run errands or work adjusted hours without feeling guilty or being micromanaged.

Cons

As a small company, there isn't as much structure as in a corporate environment. However, team members are always willing to provide extra help and resources when needed.
