The company is still in the phases of a startup. The canadian division is specifically a very scary place to work. 2024 they have fired an entire team of software guys whereas that team was thriving with new innovations. They even hired a person for a week and fired them after a week as they had to shutdown then whole team. They hey even hired a senior software engineer for a month and fired him as well.
Worked there with all of my best efforts,made good relation with every possible colleagues. Performance was beyond expectation as during my time , had the opportunity to collaborate with multiple divisions. Did jobs which was not required for me to do but starting this year they quickly just had to reduce workforce and without a single hint they fired a bunch of people.
The company is heavily depended on some employees who where ex colleagues or students of the ceo at dalhousie. Rest of the teammates are at not a good spot as people have been fired after serving for 3 or more years and yet were fired for no cause. Just to balance out the cost for the investors they hire and fire anytime they want
