Leadership needs to communicate with team professionally and efficiently
Pros
Several collaborators on the team were highly experienced and eager to share skills with the rest of the team. Collaborative team members developed strong project management processes.
Cons
Leadership could not effectively communicate with the rest of the team. They micromanaged the team, and also did not provide enough direction or support to execute work as best as we could. Leadership was not collaborative, and had complete jurisdiction on all projects. Leadership requested work to be done at short notice and outside of work hours and did not compensate accordingly, as well as making these requests in rude often unsympathetic messages. Their social media messaging inaccurately portrays the company as an innovative, passionate workplace when in reality the majority of employees quit or were let go over the course of a year, and most were not replaced, leaving the rest of the team scrambling to fulfill other roles. Workplace environment was also not suitable for productivity, as leadership often left food and drinks around the office for periods long enough to grow mold.
