Upper management is incredibly out of touch, has no experience or knowledge of clinical trials and constantly makes unethical suggestions to boost recruitment.
CEO is involved in low-level decisions she should not be involved in and does not have the appropriate knowledge of. Constantly get told what to do 'because the CEO wants it.'
It's not uncommon for people being told off by management in a big meeting, very unprofessional.
Insufferable amount of micromanagement from upper management: constantly watching whether recruitment officers are on call, how many calls they've taken, how many minutes they're on break. No understanding for people needing a few minutes off the phone. Burning out staff and no understanding for people needing sick leave because of it.
Decisions are made and work tasks and responsibilities are taken away/redistributed without informing the staff.
Staff concerns are almost never taken seriously, even when people take the appropriate steps to approach HR about bullying, unfair treatment, discrimination.
Very much underpaid - found out 3 years into the job that lower level staff with less experience and qualifications were earning 20k more.
