Chaotic and lying company

Pros

Office location (doesn't compensate for the disadvantages)

Cons

Pretty much everything - lack of strategy from executive (specially the CEO that doesn't have a clue on how to lead a team or even organize his own activities) - employee exploitation - toxic environment - false and misleading management (wouldn't be surprised if some of the good comments here were from them so be careful) - ignorant people in management positions which leads you as an employee to do things totally against commonly known best practices in your area - no real passion about the product, the focus is set on generating revenue

Pros

Although poorly executed, ODILO have a beautiful vision. I had good people in my team (I saw amazing people leaving - fast - when they realized where they are)

Cons

I'm not sure where to start. In my specific case, I left a stable company, a good job and boss because I believed in what ODILO envisioned. But senior managers run the company as they where from the 50s. Bizarre command and control, lack of trust. I saw a VP that tried to take more modern leadership practices. C-level pushed it back and he/she left the company in 6 months. People come and go because of this culture and it results that none projects are finished. The beautiful view is just that, a view, and ODILO can't get closer to it. They can't engage people to advance the cause, actually, they are doing the exact opposite. My personal experience was also terrible. Senior management asked for results but do not have a clue on what's going on in the deals, because they don't spend a minute to understand. So, when a question stroked me: how can they attract investors? I started to figure out part of the answer, when all my deals had their amounts increased directly on the CRM, just a couple weeks before they announce their last round of investment (it's there, on the CRM log). Avoid ODILO, it crushes your will. And yeah, most of positive reviews are clearly fake.

Pros

Only good thing about this company is interesting product that grew very fast in the last 2 years.

Cons

Every review that you see is rated 5.0 is written by HR and CEO, or some other employees. Every person that left ODILO never ever left without negative experience. Apart from experience, you also get anxiety. If you join this company, you can also feel fear, control, tiredness and no flexibility at all. You will be surrounded by lies, toxic leadership and colleagues that are also afraid- but scared like you to share their opinion with somebody. After already 30-60 work days people start looking for another job because it is just impossible to work in those conditions. few important points to highlight: a) hugest turnover of employees b) bad leadership c) high micromanagement d) very low salaries e) bonuses you will never reach f) your opinion doesn't matter If you care about your health, your personal life and you want experience in a ambitious, normal, healthy environment- do not go to Odilo.
