Horrendous pay yet they charge clients the going rate what OES’ competitors do (I was cc’d into an email by accident with invoices, if you want to see them hit me up)
Long hitches, longer than what you’re contracted to, will hold you over the barrel if refusal to work longer. Added to that, you could get called back to work on day 1 of leave after a 6+ week hitch. My last job I worked over 8 weeks (made a deal with line manager) on day 3 of leave another pod were trying to send me back offshore for 3 weeks, I quit instantly.
Send you on a “2 day wee drop job” to get on a job and find out you’re going to be on board over a month, without the correct equipment or tools for the job, to which line mangement say, “ask the rig if they have what you need”
