One of the worst places I've ever worked

Pros

There are a few talented staff with whom you can learn a thing or two from.

Cons

Senior management is incompetent and dishonest. They are famous for saying one thing but doing another and they don't value employee contributions. They pick and choose when to follow their list of "core values" and open "bash" employees and/or discuss potential termination of employees to their peers. There is 0 work/life balance and you are expected to be on-call at all times because there are constant upgrades and/or migrations. Company is a nonprofit run by a Board of Directors which come from medical backgrounds and know absolutely nothing about what it takes to run an IT services business. Turn-over and burn-out is extremely high.

Great Place to Work!!!

Pros

OSIS is a great place to work! I think I saw our last Employee Engagement Survey score was above 95% satisfaction or something like that. Since I've been at OSIS, they constantly look to staff for feedback and make changes based on what employees say. Leadership is transparent and always lets us know the state of the company. The core group of employees get along and support each other really well and leadership, Executive Team included, have made great decisions for the company. This is honestly the best place I've ever worked and would recommend to anyone.

Cons

Sometimes it's difficult being a remote employee but OSIS attempts to help remote employees feel connected in so many ways.
