Pros

To be honest with you there is nothing good about this company.

Cons

I worked for OZA for two months after which I resigned. There are only two types of jobs (literally) Seismic Technician and PCS job. For seismic all you have to do is sit around a seismograph at a construction site and monitor the readings and that is it. You have to drive to a different site everyday so it involves a lot of driving. I did 14000 km in just 2 months. You have to get up at 4 everyday and be there on site at the exact time. Even if you are late due to traffic conditions they send you weird emails abut disciplinary actions and stuff. Office environment is depressing. Nothing to learn or gain from this job. I swear to God you wont find a single person in the office who smiles. For PCS all you do is take pictures of building structures and that's it. The company was blacklisted by U Waterloo previously. They pay you minimum rate ($13 hr). The way they treat their employees is far from being professional.

Pros

Easy tasks. Easy to get hired.

Cons

First two reviews are very true (I gave an extra star because it seems like they want to appear nicely on Glassdoor). Door-to-door & cold calls.

Pros

Not one pro that I can think of

Cons

I worked in the office as a receptionist. I answered the phone, scheduled staff, made cold calls to customers. This is the worst working environment I have ever seen. I am a seasoned employee and have worked for many years in offices so I know what is to be expected into today's working world. This company is owned by a very intelligent man, who has nothing to do with the day to days goings on in his company, for if he knew exactly what was going on would immediately step in and make changes. . This working environment is a horrible workplace, no rules.....if they are implemented...change regularly. Staff is regularly yelled at and humiliated in front of others. crying is a normal emotion while working here. II felt sorry for any new tech hire, as they would get calls from head office and how they need to improve, and yelled at to stay longer at sites that clearly don't have any work. My advice is not to apply here. They have staff that cannot get a job anywhere else, and regulars stay because they know their job. there are only two managers that run this whole place......one that works! and one that is loosing his hair from stress by the minute. this review sounds really bad! but not as bad as it really is! they also have a storage business downstairs that is maintained by office staff upstairs. No customer service at all for that business. Owners keep secret when they are in the country. Labour board, revenue canada please knock on their door!
