With the recent 2015 integration efforts, Luxottica does not care about Oakley's people or culture. The way that Luxottica's Italian executives came in one by one, pushed Oakley's current executives swiftly out the door and dismantled teams, with little to no communication, was so unprofessional and was pretty obvious that they are only out for themselves. By the end of my time there, everyone was walking around with their hands down, just waiting for the other shoe to drop. It was super depressing and Luxottica expected us all to work even harder to help them accomplish their goal of an official take over. I don't think there are any of the same leaders there than when I started; the current employees have no allies to turn to and the morale is very bad. My heart breaks for my colleagues that are still there.
