Pros

- Remote work - WFH Stipend

Cons

I would not recommend working at Obviously due to significant financial struggles within the company, leading to major instability and unfair treatment of employees. There is a glaring pay disparity between roles, with bonuses being stripped from some employees while still being awarded to leadership (100k+, but there’s “not enough money” to give small raises). The work-life balance is terrible, with employees regularly working 50+ hour weeks without overtime pay, only to be criticized by leadership, especially the COO, for supposedly not working hard enough. To cut costs, the company has increasingly hired overseas employees with entry-level experience while simultaneously firing experienced American employees or refusing to promote them despite years of dedication. The overall environment is one of burnout, unfair compensation, and a lack of appreciation for hard work, making it an unsustainable and toxic workplace.
