Pros
Innumerable opportunities to gain new skills, interface with fast-paced research that impacts numerous disease areas, and work with dynamic team.
Cons
Must be energetic to high pressure timelines and adaptable to scheduling changes that are necessitated by client based goals. The Florida ecosystems demand heat tolerant persons.

Pros
Dedicated manager who cares about the quality of work and employees lives; lots of new skills and techniques learned. No timesheets to fill out, annual bonuses (even trips!), pay raises, health insurance, respected career in science, get to stay in SoFl. The lab was growing when I left, so they now have a bigger facility.
Cons
It's challenging work; you are expected to follow proper procedures. Otherwise you waste money and the client samples and slow down the process. Some workers don't like to be accountable, they are bad eggs. Science is hard. If you want easy, work at the mall.
