Poor Management/CEO Ignores Behavioral Problems

Good benefits, overall good culture

Cons

CEO allows managers to treat employees poorly. A certain manager tells employees on a regular basis that they are poor underwriters, they should be fired, changes the risk appetite all the time making it a struggle to produce new business, poor communication, doesn't inspire or drive employees, tries to motivate employees by fear.

Good benefits, good compensation and bonuses. Company has a good reputation with brokers. Good location for train commuters.

Cons

Training and mentoring not usually a priority. Some good managers, some not so good. Living in this area is expensive.
