Pros

Colleagues where nice to work with and the cafeteria upstairs is good to run away to

It’s nothing sales like it is a CALL CENTRE! They don’t like calling it that but it is black and white a call centre. The data is crap, the 30 minute lunches is a joke, being asked to show up 10mins before your shift for a meeting which is “unpaired” is bs. The one way walking system yep you can’t walk past glass offices as managers don’t like it, so you MUST take the long way to the toilet as the CEO said so. And you have to wear smart clothes to a call centre it’s funny looking back ngl

Cons

- Hostle working culture (visible leader boards for call centre staff, instances of managers waving lunch money at staff for whoever can get the most calls before a certain time) - Lack of safeguarding for staff - Lack of adequate training - Double standards for leadership (Staff being sent home for unprofessional work wear after several months of wearing the same office clothing all whilst the CEO is visible wearing Jeans and bright polos) - inconvenienced by any on-site visits by VIPs (unable to access lunch areas)

Teams are hard working Industry leading salary for managers

Sales pressure is extreme Restricted diaries and a complete disregard for patient care and satisfaction Expectations and workload are excessive and unreasonable You are not managed, you are worked through fear, bullying and egotistical manipulation Reminded how easily replaced you are constantly however short staffed in all clinics NHS patients take priority for appointments, over all private patients however you can't hit the unrealistic targets without the private patients Told to get on with it at every opportunity No reviews or positive feedback Antiquated systems and processes The company has an obsession with itself and a certain director thinks he should be the main advertisement for everything "Support" is their idea of telling you to work harder, rather than actually helping Senior management are toxic - Optometrists are treated as god and if you don't comply threats are thrown about Advertising fake celebrity treatment claims CEO is delusional in direction of the business
