Pros

General food and beverage staff that you work with are friendly and welcoming and interesting vibe on Event days (footy) and other sporting events. Access to free parking within the Burswood complex i.e. Burswood Casino that no one tells you about; staff discount for food.

Cons

Food outlet staff managers that are inexperienced, have an attitude problem and are frankly way too young to be considered a Manager (Aged 16 to 22). They lack the maturity and experience of dealing with a range of staff and their individual needs. Young food outlet managers lack the communication, time-management and organisational skills required to deal with a range of food outlet staff and their needs. On occasion not getting your allocated meal break of 30 minutes (a legal requirement), when working a shift of more than 5 hours. Lack of parking on-site (except at Burswood Casino). Stressful at times, being yelled at by Food area managers who don't know how to treat staff correctly; no loyalty or job security; Ridiculous absence policy - only allowed to be absence 3 times over a 3 month period (even if sick), lack of staff facilities - meal break areas are often full, with no alternative places to sit where you can access extra/ additional water/coffee/bin facilities.

Pros

You meet heaps of interesting people and the people you work with can be really nice.

Cons

Can be stressful when busy, minimal chance for career advancement, low pay (no penalties on saturdays), long hours, lack of public transport to the stadium on non event days which make it extremely difficult to get there. Some of the management have real attitude problems and poor planning and time management skills, they treat staff as expendable and yell at them during stressful shifts. Not allowed to take more than two days off in a 3 month period (even if sick) otherwise you will be reprimanded. No loyalty or job security, no incentives, no sick days or leave. Also can be working long hours before being given any breaks. Beautiful stadium but honestly most of the management need to be replaced.
