Pros

Great leadership Remote-first work policy (consequently, I can work from anywhere in the world) Flex time (we manage our daily schedule. Don’t have to stick to a 9-5) Pay on par with (or exceeds) market standards Company has vision for their future direction Excellent culture - very welcoming of everyone Get to work with talented individuals - who are ALL surprisingly nice. I thought maybe a few of them would be nice but it was a pleasant surprise to see that every single person here is approachable, affable, intelligent and down-to-earth Get to work on cutting-edge ML problems and have the leeway for experimentation with the approach

Cons

Haven’t found any yet! Seriously. I’ve been looking. Just haven’t found any

Pros

I’ve been at Orium for a bit now and honestly it’s been a really positive experience. Great people. There’s a ton of freedom to experiment and most recently we’ve seen that with AI. The work itself is varied. Projects change, clients change and you’re always learning something new. It keeps things interesting. It’s hard to get bored here. I’ve been on a few tough projects that made me want to update my resume but overall I’ve been on more good projects than bad. Remote work is a huge perk. We're fully remote and there are no plans to change that. Pay is good too. It’s not Google level but still feels competitive and fair when I’ve looked around. I’ve also had a really good experience with leadership. I’ve seen some of the negative reviews and get where they’re coming from because the layoffs were tough and a lot of great people were impacted but for those still here, most of us genuinely enjoy what we do and who we work with.

Cons

A lot of good people have been let go this past year and it’s been hard. Sometimes it feels like you’re just waiting for your turn.
